bun bo hue pho

"This is what a local traditional Vietnamese place should be. I was here about a year ago and went back recently to try it again - it’s just as good as I remember. Looking forward to my next visit. I recommend the vermicelli bowls (bun kho) with broiled pork, minced pork, spring roll and minced shrimp on sugarcane. I find the flavours to be fragrant but not overwhelming - perfect for me. The pho is also very good, the soup was light and not overly greasy/salty as I have had at other places. Must try spot!!"

"I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always been my go-to spot for amazing broth. It had been a while since my last visit, but nothing’s changed — the food and service are still top notch. I got the Hu Tieu My Tho and my boyfriend got the Bun Bo Hue — both dishes were absolutely delicious as always. This place never disappoints!"

"First time trying bún bò huế and it was delicious! Spicy level is good and soup was packed with flavour. Portion is decent with average pricing. However, my aunt was questioning why an ingredient was missing... the workers said they ran out after serving the food, so what I ate was not the complete recipe; but it still tasted great. It's a small restaurant with no wheelchair accessibility. Has an okay amount of parking available. Service is friendly and only accepts cash."

"The Bun Bo Hue was amazing. I usually get broken rice or bun thit nuong at Vietnamese restaurants. But this place was named correctly and I had to order the special soup. Couldn't go wrong with the dish and gave me a new appreciation for it. Friendly and warm service from the Vietnamese aunties. Calm and cozy spot. Bring cash! Definitely will be dropping by again in the near future."

"Not a fancy place. Can use bit of a modern upgrade. Clean. The bún bò Huế ( spicy beef and pork) noodle soup was very good. I got a medium and it was very generous in meet, noodles and vegetables garnishes. Their medium is like a large elsewhere. Friendly service and plenty of parking. Will definitely be back"

"One of my top list Pho restaurant. Crab broth is thick and rich, taste so good . Spicy beef pho is traditional taste, not much surprise but still good. We ordered assorted rolls, rice paper and deep fried, both are good quality. We bought a coconut dessert, it was not too sweet, great ."
